iKamper

Skycamp 3.0 Mini rooftop tent

A hardshell rooftop tent that opens in about a minute and sleeps two on a 2.5-inch insulated mattress, with a skylight window for stargazing. It's the bed on both rigs.

Zempire

Stealth-Jet Twin camp stove

Two 10,000 BTU burners with push-button ignition and wind shields, running off a standard 1 lb propane canister. It's the stove on the pull-out kitchen in both rigs.

Wise Owl Outfitters

Wise Owl camping pillow

A compact memory-foam camping pillow with a washable microsuede cover that packs into its own stuff sack. It packs small enough to live in the rig and makes the rooftop tent feel a lot more like a real bed.

Kelty

Kelty Bestie Blanket

A puffy insulated camp blanket with a water-resistant outside and a soft, brushed inside. Wrap up in it by the fire on cold nights, or throw it over the bedding in the tent for an extra layer.

Arcturus

Arcturus wool blanket

A big 64 x 88 in wool-blend blanket that stays warm even when it gets damp. It lives in the rig all four seasons as an extra layer on the bed for cold, soggy PNW nights.

ENO (Eagles Nest Outfitters)

ENO DoubleNest hammock

The two-person nylon hammock that started it all, rated to 400 lb. Our personal one has lasted more than 15 years of camp after camp and is still going strong.

Wise Owl Outfitters

Wise Owl double hammock

The newer brand at a lower price: a 10 x 6.5 ft parachute-nylon hammock that comes with tree straps and carabiners. Hang it between two healthy trees, with the wide straps wrapped around the trunks so the bark stays intact.
